About us<\/h1>\n

The organization in Tanzania is assisted by the Dutch project coordinator Robin van Donkersgoed, who is staying in Tanzania to supervise the project. He ensures that – with clear objectives and financial management – the deaf children really receive all the support that is offered from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

The board<\/h2>\n

The board of the Tanzanian EOTAS Foundation consists of the project coordinator and Tanzanian board members. The EOTAS Foundation publishes an annual report containing the activities and financial results. This report is audited and approved by a recognized Tanzanian Auditor as required by the ‘Tanzania Financial Accounting Standard (TFAS) and’ The Non-Governmental Organization Act, 2002′. This annual report is available in English via the EOTAS website or on request through the secretary or the program coordinator (see below).<\/p>\n

The board of EOTAS Foundation in the Netherlands consists of five board members who work on a voluntary basis. The Board functions as a link between our donors in the Netherlands and the deaf children in Tanzania and as a support for the Project coordinator in Tanzania. The EOTAS Foundation in the Netherlands publishes it’s own annual and financial report. This report includes the activities undertaken, mainly through the EOTAS Foundation in Tanzania. For the financial reports of the EOTAS Foundation in Tanzania, we refer to the English-language annual report of the Tanzanian sister organization.<\/p>\n
