In addition to the school, the EOTAS Foundation has also built an apartment complex called Camp Holland<\/strong>. We use the rent for the apartments to keep the school running. This complex consists of 11 apartments, which are fully furnished and equipped with hot water for showers, toilet, kitchen and bedroom. The complex is equipped with a reserve water tank, so that water is almost always available. Thanks to the fact that the complex is in the same district as the houses of a number of ministers, electricity is almost always available. Thanks to our guests at Camp Holland in Dodoma, we receive the necessary additional income to the sponsoring of the deaf children at our school. Without income from renting our apartments, many children today would not be able to go to school to receive quality education. And because these deaf children are not accepted in a regular school, they simply would not receive any education. They would have been subject to anyone or anything without any rights. Unfortunately, in practice it is the case that a child without official registration at a school immediately loses all other protection, because in principle the child falls outside of the system.
